Aris are trying to move forward with a significant transfer, as they are looking to acquire Cory Joseph.
The 34-year-old Canadian international point guard joined Monaco on December 4, 2025, but has yet to make an appearance, as the club from the Principality has been hit with a transfer ban due to outstanding financial issues.
As time goes by, Joseph remains essentially inactive, and since no solution has been found at Monaco, the player has been offered to Aris.
The “Yellows” are attempting to make this major move, but there has been no development yet. This is due both to Joseph not having made a final decision and to the fact that Aris have not yet submitted an offer that would convince the player to come to Thessaloniki.
The Canadian guard spent 14 years in the NBA, having started his career with the San Antonio Spurs in 2011, where he also won the championship in 2014. He has also played for the Toronto Raptors (2015–17), Indiana Pacers (2017–19), Sacramento Kings (2019–21), Detroit Pistons (2021–23), Golden State Warriors (2023–24) and Orlando Magic (2024–25).
In the NBA, he averaged 6.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists across 866 games. Last season (2024–25) with Orlando, he averaged 3.5 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 50 appearances, starting in 16 of those games.
