Amine Noua has signed a three-year contract extension with Aris Betsson, the team announced on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old power forward joined the Greek club last November. Bouncing back in the BKT EuroCup, following 43 appearances earlier in his career with MoraBanc Andorra and LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, he added nine more games played, all in the starting lineup, for 14.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 0.9 steals, 0.4 assists, and 0.2 blocks per contest. At the domestic level, the French import has averaged 17.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.5 steals, 0.8 assists, and 0.3 blocks per contest over eight appearances in the Stoiximan GBL Regular Season.

In further European club competition experience besides the EuroCup, Noua has played 95 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games, spread between ASVEL and Fenerbahce Beko, was featured in 26 Basketball Champions League games with ASVEL, Bertram Derthona Tortona, and Hapoel Holon, and also made his way to three FIBA EuroCup games with ASVEL. Representing France, he went from a successful youth career from 2013 to 2017 to earning caps with the senior national team in the Qualifiers of EuroBasket 2025, and of the 2019 and 2023 installments of the FIBA World Cup.

Last Thursday, fellow EuroCup outfit Niners Chemnitz confirmed a reunion with Eric Washington, four years after his departure. However, the 32-year-old guard is ineligible for the remainder of the 2025-26 edition of Euroleague Basketball’s second-tier competition.

At 7-8 in Group A of the Regular Season, Aris trails the lowest seed leading to the Eightfinals by one game. On an 8-7 record in Group B, the Niners currently rank sixth, one game away from elimination.
