For the third time in the 2025-26 BKT EuroCup Regular Season, 28-year-old Jared Harper stands out as the Most Valuable Player of the week

Jared Harper was named Most Valuable Player in Round 17 of the 2025-26 BKT EuroCup Regular Season.

Euroleague Basketball formally confirmed the latest distinction for the 28-year-old point guard of Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem on Friday.

Per the press release: “With Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem knowing that a win would secure the top seed in Group A heading into the BKT EuroCup Playoffs, last season’s MVP Jared Harper stepped up by leading his team to a 114-104 overtime victory over U-BT Cluj-Napoca, earning MVP of the Round honors.

Harper scored a season-high 30 points on 5-of-8 two-pointers, 2-of-8 three-pointers and 14-of-16 free throws, while also adding 2 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal and 13 fouls drawn for a PIR of 33, the highest of any player in Round 17. It marked Harper’s third MVP of the Round award this season, after previously earning the honor in Rounds 5 and 6. He was named MVP of the Round five times last season.

The next-best index ratings in Round 17 belonged to Slask Wroclaw’s Kadre Gray and NINERS Chemnitz’s Nike Sibande, who each posted a PIR of 29. Gray finished with 19 points on 4-of-7 two-pointers, 1-of-3 three-pointers and 8-of-8 free throws, along with 4 rebounds, 10 assists and 8 fouls drawn in Slask’s surprise 80-82 road win over Bahcesehir College Istanbul. Sibande totaled 25 points on 6-of-8 two-pointers, 2-of-6 three-pointers and 7-of-8 free throws, plus 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 7 fouls drawn as Chemnitz defeated Dolomiti Energia Trento 81-67.

Cluj’s Trey Woodbury recorded a PIR of 28 in his team’s loss to Jerusalem, posting 28 points on 9-of-11 two-pointers, 2-of-7 three-pointers and 4-of-6 free throws, along with 3 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 fouls drawn.

Rounding out the list of top performers was Woodbury’s Cluj teammate Patrick Richard. He recorded 19 points on 1-of-2 two-pointers, 3-of-3 three-pointers and 8-of-9 free throws, plus 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 6 fouls drawn.

Individual highs: Austin Wiley, Jerusalem, 17 rebounds

Jared Harper led all players in scoring in Round 17 with 30 points. Cluj’s Fatts Russell leads the EuroCup in scoring with 19.7 points per game.

Jerusalem big man Austin Wiley pulled down 17 rebounds, the most of any player in this round. Wiley also leads the EuroCup in rebounds with 9.3 per game.

Chemnitz’s Corey Davis Jr. handed out a round-high 11 assists. Neptunas Klaipeda’s Arnas Velicka leads the EuroCup in assists with 7.7 per game.

Juwan Morgan of Buducnost VOLI Podgorica had 5 steals, more than anyone else in this round. Turk Telekom Ankara’s Dogus Ozdemiroglu leads the EuroCup in steals with 2.1 per game.

Austin Wiley also led the way this round in blocks with 4. BAXI Manresa’s Kaodirichi Akobundu-Ehiogu leads the EuroCup in blocks with 1.8 per game.

Six players finished with a double-double in Round 17: Austin Wiley (10 points, 17 rebounds), Kadre Gray (19 points, 10 assists), Bahcesehir’s Trevion Williams (11 points, 10 rebounds), Besiktas GAIN Istanbul’s Ante Zizic (12 points, 11 rebounds), Lietkabelis Panevezys’s Fardaws Aimaq (19 points, 14 rebounds), and London Lions’ Shavar Reynolds (14 points, 10 assists).”
