The knockout phase of the 2025/26 BKT EuroCup is officially underway.
The first team to punch a ticket to the quarterfinals is Turk Telekom, after a 98–81 victory over Manresa in Ankara. They will face Hapoel Jerusalem in the quarterfinals, which will be played in a single-game format.
Five Turk Telekom players finished in double digits, led by Kris Bankston and Michael Devoe with 16 points each. Jaleen Smith added 15, Kyle Allman scored 13, and Doğuş Özdemiroğlu contributed 11 points.
For Manresa, Eli Brooks led the way with 16 points, Alejandro Reyes added 14, and Pierre Oriola scored 11. Hugo Benitez and Agustin Ubal also reached double figures with 10 points apiece.
U-BT Cluj-Napoca stunned Buducnost VOLI on the road and claimed a 100–82 win in Podgorica.
Iverson Molinar erupted for 34 points, while Daron Fatts Russell added 20 along with seven assists. Mitch Creek contributed 13 points and Karol Guzman chipped in 10. Cluj-Napoca will now face Bahcesehir in the quarterfinals.
On the other side, Buducnost bowed out despite Yogi Ferrell’s 17 points. Juwan Morgan added 14 and Rashid Sulaimon scored 13, as they were the only players to finish in double figures.
Cedevita Olimpija beat Chemnitz at home 73–65 and advanced to the next stage, where they are set to face JL Bourg.
D.J. Stewart led the Slovenian side with 14 points, while Umoja Gibson added 12. Aleksej Nikolić also finished in double figures with 11 points, as did Rok Radović with 10.
On the other side, Amadou Sow stood out with 13 points and seven rebounds. Aher Uguak added 12, while Kevin Yebo and Corey Davis contributed 11 and 10 points, respectively.
The final game of the day delivered a spectacle. Venice hosted Trento in an all-Italian clash that went to overtime. The visitors came back from a 74–79 deficit with two and a half minutes left, took the lead, but Ky Bowman forced overtime.
In the extra five minutes, it was Devante Jones’ show, as Trento pulled away to record a 94–90 win and join Besiktas in the quarterfinals.
Jones had an outstanding game with 38 points and six assists to lead the way for Trento, while Matas Jogela finished with a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds.
On the other side, Kyle Wiltjer led Venice with 16 points and seven boards. Carl Wheatle followed with 15 points, while R.J. Cole chipped in 13 and Amedeo Tessitori added 11.
