Nenad Dimitrijevic of Bayern Munich, Kem Birch of Fenerbahce and Vassilis Charalampopoulos of AEK are the first names linked with the new era of Aris BC.
To be exact Charalampopoulos (29, 2.04) has completed his move according to Eurohoops sources, since he was a target even before the deal with Spanoulis, and the addition of the Greek forward is expected to be official soon.
Dimitrijevic, a former teammate of Aris BC general manager Nikos Zisis, is also in talks with the club, he belongs to Zenit St. Petersburg, which will get a small buyout for the team to be completed.
The 28-year-old point guard is currently loaned to Bayern.
As for Birch, who has a key role in former EuroLeague champions Fenerbahce, at his 33 years of age a return to Greece is possible, where he has also played in the past for Olympiacos.
Birch’s wife is Greek, he spent a lot of offseasons in the country and the Canadian big man, like Dimitrijevic are both considered priorities for Aris.
