Turk Telekom has announced a deal with Shaquielle McKissic, securing his services for the 2026–27 season.

The American-born naturalized Azerbaijani player joins the Ankara outfit following a historic, trophy-laden tenure in Greece with Olympiacos. Renowned for his explosive speed, relentless on-court energy, and deep veteran experience, the swingman is set to bring elite championship pedigree to his new club as they prepare for rigorous campaigns in both the BKT EuroCup and the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi in the 2026–27 season.

After seven seasons as a crucial role player and fan favorite for Olympiacos, McKissic brings previous EuroCup and BSL experience, stemming from Herbalife Gran Canaria, Besiktas Sompo Sigorta, Gaziantep, and Muratbey Usak Sportif, to the Turkish capital.

The Arizona State product cemented his legacy in Piraeus as the longest-tenured American player in the history of the Greek giants. His illustrious stint culminated spectacularly during the 2025–26 campaign, where he helped guide Olympiacos to the ultimate European glory by capturing the EuroLeague championship, contributing five points and two rebounds in the championship game victory against Real Madrid. His rich resume also features 11 domestic titles, including four Stoiximan GBL championships.

Before the headline-grabbing deal was officially confirmed on Wednesday, which signals massive ambition for the next continental and domestic journeys, Turk Telekom had already announced the arrivals of Anthony Lamb, Goktug Bas, Ismael Bako, and Tim Schneider. Additionally, the squad has maintained continuity by retaining the core trio of Emircan Kosut, Kris Bankston, and Ata Kahraman.
