Maxima Roma is a new club; however, a beloved local football icon is joining them and bringing them legitimacy among the Italians fans.
With the following text on social media, Maxima Roma announced the collaboration with Francesco Totti.

The official title of Totti is Advisor to the ownership and delegate for fan base development and Corporate Social Responsibility operations.
An iconic athlete in the history of Rome’s sporting culture, Totti has chosen to put his name and experience behind a long-term, sustainable project designed to bring the capital back to the highest levels of Italian and European basketball, starting with the Italian LBA Serie A and the EuroCup.
The club’s vision goes beyond competition, with a commitment to growing the sport throughout Rome and developing the next generation of players.
As Totti said: “I wanted new motivation and felt the desire to challenge myself by accepting a new challenge. The role and, above all, the project that was presented to me immediately convinced me. I am very happy to be an active part of this project, and I thank the club for the trust it has decided to place in me. The first objective will be to build a solid group, strengthen the team, and create all the conditions to become a leading organization in Italian basketball. Then we will look toward Europe and beyond”.
