Khimki has announced the addition of Markel Brown until the end of the season, after waiving Justin Carter.
The team used the corresponding option in Carter’s contract as announced on twitter.
Brown arrives to Khimki after playing with the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA preseason. The 24 year old player was selected with the 44th overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves. He was later traded to the Brooklyn Nets on draft night. InJanuary 2015, using the flexible assignment rule, the Nets assigned Brown to the Maine Red Claws, the D-League affiliate of the Boston Celtics.
