Things are changing in Spain and that was proved in Eurocup. Playing without injured Faccundo Campazzo, Murcia got the big 83-75 win over Unicaja Malaga.
Murcia has now a 3-1 record in Group C, while Unicaja had to settle for 1-2. Thanks to the big game of Vitor Benite who had 21 points and with Billy Baron adding 18, the hosts managed to prevail in a close game decided in the third quarter which ended with Murcia leading 66-58.
The first two periods had an identical tied partial score of 20-20 and also the fourt quarter was tied at 17. Kyle Fogg with 26 points proved once again that he is a gifted scorer, big man Dejan Musli added 17 points but Unicaja couldn’t get the right momentum in the second half and make a real come back.
