Zenit St. Petersburg added more veteran presence into the locker room, signing a two-year contract with guard Evgeny Voronov, club announced on Wednesday.

Voronov (1.94 meters, 31 years old) arrives from Unics Kazan, where he spent last season, posting 3 points and 1.3 rebounds in a limited role off the bench in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague action, and 5.5 points and 1.7 rebounds in VTB League action.

In his career, Voronov has been to three EuroLeague Final Fours with CSKA Moscow, and has two EuroCup seasons under his belt, his debut 2008-09 campaign with Unics, and more recently with Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar. In his career, Voronov also played for Stavropol, Samara and Dynamo Moscow, all in his native Russia. He has also been a member of the Russian national team, and has won bronze medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
