Day 2 of the 7Days Eurocup and Group D tipped-off tonight with two matchups between Tofas against Gran Canaria and Lyon-Villeurbanne against Ulm.
In Turkey, Tofas got an impressive 98-94 win at home and improved to a 1-1 record while Gran Canaria fell to a 1-1 record as well. As you can guess from the final score, everything was decided on details.
Yigit Arslan finished with 21 points for the winners while Anzejcs Pasecniks, the 21-year old prospect was really impressive off the bench for Gran Canaria, as he finished with 19 points and 6 rebounds.
On the other game of Group D, ASVEL-Villeurbanne got the easy blowout 108-77 win against Ulm. Since early on, the home side had control of the game and found ways to increase their lead to double-digits before halftime. Nothing changed after that. John Roberson finished with 21 points for the winners.
Group D’s matchups will conclude tomorrow with Zenit taking on Trento.
