Gran Canaria prevailed over Galatasaray in Istanbul with 108-86, improving to a 2-1 record in the Top phase, dropping the Turkish side to 0-3.
The visiting side used a strong outbreak in the second period to lead 57-42 at halftime, yet Galatasaray started trimming the deficit in the third period. After 30 minutes in the game, Gran Canaria managed to stay up 80-74.
An 13-1 run early in the final period helped the Spanish side keep its lead and eventually seal the victory.
Dennis Seeley led the winners with 19 points and four assists, while DaJuan Summers tapped 21 points for the hosts.
