AS Monaco prevailed over Ratiopharm Ulm with an 84-81 victory at home and sealed its Top 16 ticket after an intense battle.
The French team’s 9-man rotation turned out not to be a problem afterall, as Elmedin Kikanovic and Yakuba Ouattara posted 22 points each, while Paul Lacombe also added 21 points.
MoraBanc Andorra grabbed a crucial 91-80 victory over Crvena Zvezda and gained a great advantage in the chase of the second ticket to the next round in Group A.
Andorra moved up to a 5-3 record, while the Serbian team fell to 4-4. The last two weeks of the regular season will be of particular interest between the two teams, as there’s only one more ticket to the Top 16 left.
