Khimki defended its home court and got an easy win over Valencia, while Lokomotiv Kuban, despite a record season in Eurocup and a nine points advantage from the first game, lost at home to Unics Kazan, which got the qualification to the semifinals, like Khimki.

Lokomotiv’s record streak of 20 wins in Eurocup didn’t scare Unics Kazan which got a 79-58 win and qualified, while missing Keith Langford. However, James White scored 29 points for the winners, D’Or Fisher added 17 and Kostas Kaimakoglou 11. Lokomotiv shot just 37,8% in twos and 25% in threes, having an off night in the worst possible timing.

Κhimki, which had won also on the road, beat Valencia with ease (76-61) and confirmed that it’s one of the strongest contenders for the title, after beating the defending champions. Last season’s Euroleague Final Four MVP Tyrese Rice with 18 points and 10 assists had one more big game.
