Gran Canaria got the 78-76 win over Unics Kazan and qualified to the Eurocup finals against Khimki. The Spanish club after an impressive 13 points win in the first contest, had an easy task.
Canadian forward Levon Kendall had 17 points for the winners, while Unics tried its best but couldn’t do much without its top scorer, injured Keith Langford. It was a tense and nervous game from both sides, with mediocre shooting and Gran Canaria dominating the boards (37-29). The advantage from the first game on the road, gave the extra confidence to the hosts in order to prevail in the end.
