Ratiopharm Ulm announced the signing of 18-year-old French guard Killian Hayes to a three-year deal.
Hayes is considered one of the most talented young guards in Europ and is projected to be a possible lottery pick in the 2020 NBA Draft according to numerous experts. In 2017 he was named MVP of the U16 European Championship after leading his country to the gold medal. Two years later, he was named to the All-Tournament Team of the U17 World Cup.
In 2018-2019, Hayes averaged 7.1 points in the French League with Cholet Basket.
In July, Hayes received a six-game suspension by the French Federation for his decision to not join the national team for the U20 European Championship.
