Elite Coaching Staff
Inspired by the modern basketball philosophy of EuroLeague Legend Theodoros Papaloukas, the Eurohoops Academy coaching team includes seasoned professionals specializing in youth development. With Technical Director Konstantinos Meletis and Head of Coaching Evripidis Papaioannou leading the way, the strategic planning of this new era has already shown tangible results in its very first year.
Structured Individual Development Plan
The Academy’s philosophy centers around a personalized training plan tailored to each child’s age and individual needs. Every athlete is treated as a unique development project, with continuous monitoring, customized guidance, and positive role models. The success of our teams in Athens and national tournaments confirms our competitive growth. At the same time, our grassroots programs, built on the principles of Mini Basketball, have helped dozens of kids discover a love for the sport and grow through it, and that is Eurohoops Academy’s greatest achievement.
Enhanced and Innovative Training Program
The Academy’s curriculum goes beyond regular practice hours. It includes innovative modules like the Skills Labs and Strength & Conditioning Labs. These specialized sessions, in separate groups, are designed to improve individual technique and physical development, based on each athlete’s age and abilities. They complement the core training program, aiming for consistent improvement in both skill and fitness.
Partnership with Arsakeia–Tositseia Schools in Ekali
Our partnership with the Hellenic Educational Society and the Arsakeia–Tositseia Schools has created a unique blend of athletic and academic excellence. In an environment that fosters learning and continuous growth, students gain values that merge education with sportsmanship, further enriching the quality of their training. The renovated facilities include three modern, multifunctional courts (Court 1, Court 2, Court 3), all climate-controlled and adaptable for different ages and skill levels. Courts 1 and 2 feature multiple adjustable-height hoops for simultaneous group use, modern locker rooms, and the latest sports tech, like the Dr. Dish Shooting Machine. Court 3 is specially designed with lower hoops, exclusively for younger kids.
