After the recent coronavirus outbreak in Italy, EuroLeague has decided the game between AX Armani Exchange Milan-Olympiacos Piraeus for Round 29 of the Regular Season will be played behind closed doors due to safety concerns.

To guarantee the safety and security of participating players, coaches and referees, to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus, and to maintain the regularity of the competition, no individuals – including fans, VIPs, nor additional club staff members – will be allowed access to the arena, per EuroLeague’s announcement.

Earlier in the day, it has also been reported that the Round 29 game between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Baskonia might have to be relocated, though the official decision is still pending.
