Anadolu Efes guard/forward Krunoslav Simon discussed life in isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic in a vlog post for EuroLeague Basketball.

Simon said that while the situation is difficult and unprecedented for him and all players, at least it has created an opportunity to spend more time with his family.

“Sometimes my older daughter asks me why I am at home and what I’m doing at home all the time. For them, it’s a new situation, same for us.”

Simon last played a EuroLeague game on March 6 before the championship was suspended until further notice on March 12. In the Turkish BSL League, Simon played 16 minutes in the win over Bursaspor Tuesday (17/3). It was the last BSL match before the league was postponed indefinitely.

“It’s not a situation that is how it’s supposed to be. But we must live through this and we can only hope that it will finish as soon as possible,” Simon said.
