Nikola Milutinov will join CSKA when the season officially ends and his contract with Olympiacos expires. A deal is in place for a three-year contract, according to Eurohoops sources.

In acceptance that the 25-year-old Serbian center will depart and with the Russian outlet in pole position for his addition, Olympiacos was already nearing a deal with Hassan Martin to cover the front-line gap, as previously reported by Eurohoops.

Milutinov was set to become a free agent following the 2019-20 season. His multiyear contract with CSKA extends his EuroLeague run to a third team following his two seasons with Partizan and five with Olympiacos.

He played in 24 matches of Europe’s premier competition up to the ongoing hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. Averaged 10.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per 2019-20 appearance.

The San Antonio Spurs retain his NBA rights they hold since selecting him with the 26th overall pick of the 2015 draft.

“Cyprus basket” was the first media to report during this season the interest of CSKA Moscow for the player and various media have also reported the upcoming deal. Meanwhile, as his agent had confirmed, both CSKA and FC Barcelona tried to get him last summer.
