Zalgiris Kaunas put on an offensive show in the 1999 Final Four to win the title.

On April 22, 1999, Zalgiris Kaunas won the first EuroLeague title in the history of the club by beating Kinder Bologna in the final that took place in Munich, Germany.

Zalgiris, featuring such players as Saulius Stombergas, Tyus Edney (named Final Four MVP) Eurelijus Zukauskas outplayed the Italian team that included Sasha Danilovic, Antoine Rigaudeu, Hugo Schonochini and Rasho Nesterovic among others.
