Derrick Williams and Khimki are having advanced talks and a deal between the two sides seems to be the most possible outcome at the moment.
The 29-year-old American forward spent this past season in Turkey with Fenerbahce averaging 10.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and one steal in 25 minutes over 46 games split between the Turkish League and EuroLeague.
Williams first came to Europe in 2018 when he joined Bayern Munich for a season while before that he played in the NBA for multiple teams over seven years – Minnesota, Sacramento, New York, Miami, Cleveland, Lakers. He also had a stint in China with Tianjin Gold Lions.
