Corey Walden paid the buy-out on his contract with Partizan NIS and penned a deal with Crvena Zvezda mts, the club announced.

This is Crvena Zvezda‘s third addition this offseason as they already signed deals with Landry Nnoko and Jordan Loyd.

27-year-old Walden posted an average of 6.5 points with 3.3 assists per game during the 7DAYS EuroCup regular season, while his numbers went up to 9.8 points, 2.8 assists per game during the Top 16 phase. The American guard also averaged 8.9 points with 1.8 assists in ABA League this season prior to its cancellation.

Prior to Partizan, Walden played in Israel with Hapoel Holon, Belgium with Oostende, and in the G League with the Maine Red Claws. He was named the Israeli League MVP in 2019.
