Panathinaikos Athens is considering signing center Zach Auguste according to Eurohoops sources. There have been talks between the two sides but not any offer on the table yet.

Auguste, 27, previously played with Panathinaikos in 2017-2018 before joining Galatasaray. In his second season with the Turkish side, he averaged 13.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 25:20 minutes over 16 EuroCup games plus 12.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 23.59 minutes over 22 matches of the Turkish BSL League.

Auguste also holds Greek citizenship and thus won’t occupy a foreign player spot on the roster of the Panathinaikos if he rejoins the team.

Panathinaikos has already completed the acquisitions of guard Nemanja Nedovic and guard Marcus Foster. Both signings are expected to be announced in the following days.
