Valencia coach Jaume Ponsarnau has been quite pleased with the transfer moves that the team is making so far in the 2020 offseason, noting that all the acquire players were his primary options

“It’s unlike in the past when wanted to sign first options and we couldn’t. But this summer, we are able to sign the first options,” Ponsarnau said in an interview with La Provincia. “Things have happened that have improved our capacity. I am not talking about economics but others that are allowing us to have access to players with a higher value in the market.”

Valencia has signed former Fenerbahce players Nikola Kalinic and Derrick Williams this summer, along with former Alba Berlin guard Martin Hermannsson plus Klemen Prepelic.

“We intend for Kalinic to give us a physical dimension in the ‘3’ position and to take advantage of his versatility so that he can have minutes at ‘4’ when necessary,” Ponsarnau commented on Kalinic who parted ways with Fenerbahce after four years.
