Nikola Milutinov scored 18 points and Mike James added 17 points as CSKA Moscow beat Khimki Moscow 99 – 83 to capture its third 2020-2021 preseason win. It was the first prep match in which CSKA was coached by Dimitris Itoudis following his recovery from coronavirus.

Alexey Shved (20 points) and Jonas Jerebko (17 points) stood out from Khimki that was unable to be quite competitive in light of its many absences. Greg Monroe and Jordan Mickey have yet to join the Russian side while Stefan Jovic, Dairis Bertans and Sergey Monya and Egor Vyaltsev were out due to injuries.

CSKA quickly established a strong lead and led by 21, 39 – 18 in the second period. Khimki reacted a bit but Milutinov took over in the third period with nine points to help CSKA remain dominant.
