KC Rivers scored 21 points as Zenit St. Petersburg beat Avtodor Saratov 96 – 75 in the last game of the Neva Cup preseason tournament.
Apart from Rivers, Will Thomas had 13 points and seven rebounds for Zenit that had a superb offensive game, especially in the first half. Xavi Pascual’s team scored 32 points in the first period and closed halftime up 56 – 45 while Saratov was unable to catch up.
Anton Kvitkovskikh (14 points) and Aleksandr Petenev (14 points) were Avtodor’s leading scorers.
