A few months after joining Panathinaikos OPAP, Pierre Jackson will leave the Greens, Eurohoops sources confirm. The contract signed last August will be terminated by mutual agreement.
Jackson, 29, missed Round 1 and Round 2 of the 2020-21 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season due to injury. In earlier domestic action, he was held to three assists, and one rebound over 15 minutes in the Greek Super Cup semifinal loss to Peristeri winmasters.
Apart from the recently-added and similar player in Keifer Sykes, the Greek powerhouse is moving forward planning to address playmaking woes by scanning the market for a floor general to strengthen Giorgos Vovoras’ squad.
