Shavon Shields was added to AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milano’s injury list with a muscle strain in his right thigh flexors, the Italian club announced Thursday.
Per the press release: “Shavon Shields reported a muscle strain in his right thigh flexors in today’s practice, therefore he did not travel with the team to Madrid and will be re-evaluated in ten days.”
Shields, 26, averaged 12.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.1 assists per Turkish Airlines EuroLeague contest over his first 16 appearances this season. He also posted 15.1 points per match at the domestic level, LBA Serie A.
Vladimir Micov due to a back injury remains out for the EuroLeague Regular Season Round 18 contest versus Real Madrid set to take place Friday in Spain’s capital.
The team coached by Ettore Messina is 9-7 sitting in eighth place of the EuroLeague standings.
