EuroLeague Basketball and MED, one of Greece’s top clothing manufacturers have joined forces for a new partnership, as it was announced on Tuesday.

Per EuroLeague:

Euroleague Basketball is proud to welcome MED, a long-established alternative clothing manufacturer based in Greece and present in markets worldwide, as the newest official Official Licensee for both the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the 7DAYS EuroCup.

MED, a leading swimwear and underwear brand for modern women and men for the last 30 years, has marked the occasion by creating new collections, including unisex masks designed for each EuroLeague team, that are already available to fans.

Attracted to each other by a shared innovative, forward-thinking attitude towards their products, Euroleague Basketball and MED have agreed to collaborate for the next four seasons. Euroleague Basketball platforms offer the perfect pan-national showcase for MED’s devotion to creative luxury with broad international appeal.

“We are pleased to partner with such an ahead-of-the-curve brand as MED, not the least because our fans love being on the leading edge of trends in fashion,” Jordi Bertomeu, President and CEO of Euroleague Basketball, said. “Connecting those fans together with the freshest designs and looks on the market is part of our DNA as leaders in a cross-cultural and global sport like basketball.”

With creativity at the heart of its mission, MED specializes in great aesthetics and the highest quality materials as it strengthens its presence worldwide through a strong sales network of its own stores, franchises and wholesale retailers.

“Euroleague’s global development and networking as a sports product aligns with the recent steps that MED has taken,” said Efthymios Chatzivasileiou, CEO of MED. “Having conquered the Greek market, MED wants to strengthen its presence in markets abroad, with its own stores as well as with a steadily developing franchise network. I am convinced that both sides will benefit from this partnership.”
