Jeremy Evans has officially joined Olimpia Milano

Jeremy Evans passed all the medical tests and has penned a deal with Olimpia Milano which will be able to count on the player until the end of the season in EuroLeague.

Olimpia Milan has reached an agreement until the end of the season with power forward-center Jeremy Evans, born in Monroe, Louisiana, on October 24, 1987, 2.06 mt. “We wanted Evans to get prepared for the final part of the EuroLeague season, increase our depth and be ready for any emergency: due to his characteristics he was the player we were looking for, so we are happy that he’s going to be able to help us” Olimpia’s general manager Christos Stavropoulos said. “I’m grateful to Olimpia for the opportunity to play for a great organization, I’m ecstatic to come back to work and help the team win as much as possibile during this EuroLeague season,” Jeremy Evans said.

HIS CAREER – Evans attended the Crossett High School in Arkansas and then Western Kentucky for four seasons. During his last year there, he averaged 10.0 point per game, shooting 63.9 percent from the field. In 2010 he was 55th pick of the NBA draft and stayed with the Utah Jazz until 2015. He has won the slam-dunk contest in 2012 and was the runner-up in 2013. His best season was the 2013/14 when he averaged 6.1 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. In 2015 he moved to the Dallas Mavericks. In 2016 he briefly played for Khimki Moscow before an injury forced him to return to the States and then spent some time with the Atlanta Hawks. In 2018 he signed for Darussafaka. In the EuroLeague, he averaged 9.7 points per game, shooting 65.1 percent from the field and grabbed 5.9 rebounds per game. In the 2019/20 EuroLeague season at Khimki he averaged 8.5 points per game, shot 61.7 percent from the field and averaged 4.4 rebounds per game.

NOTES – He won the slam dunk title in 2012 dunking two basketballs at the same time while jumping over his then teammate Gordon Hayward.
