Next big-man up for Olympiacos, Octavius Ellis, a rational fantasy pick

By Eurohoops Team/ info@eurohoops.net

We tackle Olympiacos‘ center position in a brand new EuroLeague Fantasy week. The end result of our research can generate plenty of fantasy points at an extremely low cost.

Kostas Koufos was added following the injury of Hassan Martin but is not expected to earn substantial playing time against his former Turkish Airlines EuroLeague team, CSKA Moscow. We don’t anticipate head coach Georgios Bartzokas immediately inserting him in the rotation.

Octavius Ellis is the probable first-unit center under the circumstances. Livio Jean-Charles a likely backup and Georgios Printezis an additional solution in smaller lineups.

Ellis, 27, not producing big so far and even held to second place compared to Jean-Charles fails to alter his current status as a low-risk addition. His French teammate is a solid option as well. The few units necessary make them worth a shot.

Injured Nikola Milutinov leaves head coach Dimitrios Itoudis with Michael Eric, Joel Bolomboy, and Johannes Voigtmann at the center position. They aren’t scary but certainly better. Ellis at 0.79 and Jean-Charles at 0.86 can make things happen fantasy-wise.

Panathinaikos options

From the Reds to the Greens set to visit ALBA Berlin without Nemanja Nedovic. The remaining guards on the roster are available at a low fantasy price and can be added to your roster. From Shelvin Mack to Lefteris Bochoridis.

We would also select Ioannis Papapetrou currently valued at 1.41 units. With Leonidas Kaselakis out, he will pick up more offensive duties this week. Another tip for a pick, Howard Sant-Roos at 0.98 units will earn more playing time with Nedovic sidelined.
