CSKA Moscow‘s Mike James has been suspended for the upcoming games with the decision coming from coach Dimitris Itoudis, the club announced.
The suspension comes after the VTB League game against UNICS Kazan in which James was substituted after three minutes, during a timeout, and never returned to the court. Coach Itoudis commented on it after the game but didn’t go into details.
This is the second time this season that the American guard has been suspended. The first one happened in late-January.
James also missed some games afterward due to sad news of a loss in his family due to which he had to travel back to the US.
