Landing a spot in the NBA is the priority for Jock Landale

Olympiacos officially presented an offer to Jock Landale. The Reds proposed a two-year contract in full knowledge of the Australian center prioritizing the NBA at this point of his career.

The Greek powerhouse was considering as reported by Gazzetta.gr and confirmed by Eurohoops sources, contacted the side of the player trying to lure him back to Europe.

The Australian big man was feeling ready for the next step and the NBA following his two-year stint in Europe. He recently confirmed his goal of making it to the NBA over a potential return to EuroLeague, while speaking to the Australian edition of ESPN.

Landale, 25, in his first pro season coming out of Saint Mary’s made his way to Partizan NIS and the 2018-19 edition of 7DAYS EuroCup. He joined Turkish Airlines EuroLeague outlet Zalgiris Kaunas for the 2019-20 season putting up 11 points and 4.4 rebounds per contest. His 0.2 blocks per match in Europe’s premier club competition are met by 1.7 blocks paired with 16.5 points per NBL appearance with Melbourne United this season.

The early official offer demonstrates Olympiacos and head coach Georgios Bartzokas wanting to secure his services. However, the Greek team is forced to wait for Landale determined to test the NBA waters in the offseason.
