Saras expects his team play much better defense against Efes.

Barcelona coach Sarunas Jasikevicius was pleased with the win of his team over Olimpia Milano in the second EuroLeague semifinal but not really satisfied with the defensive performance of his players.

The Blaugrana boss believes that his team should be completely transformed on the defensive end against Anadolu Efes in the Final, otherwise the chances of winning may be extremely slim.

“We always demand ourselves to win, but the most important thing is to improve and learn. That’s the key. With this defense that we have played today we have no chance [against Efes],” Jasikevicius said to DAZN TV.

“We have had a lot of mental errors, the defense has been one of the worst in recent games,” Saras mentioned on the game against Milano. “We have survived but this will not be enough for the final. It was a weird game, we don’t take care of the little details. We have talked a lot about Barca’s defense but today it was practically non-existent until the last quarter, we have to build from defense and now we have 48 hours to prepare for what is possibly the best offensive team in the Euroleague.”

“We have to give our best defensive version, so far we have only beaten Milan,” Jasikevicius commented. “We have to understand what we did not do well, what we can do better. This is the Euroleague final, it will always be difficult”
