Olympiacos has a deal with ASVEL veteran guard/forward David Lighty and is negotiating with the French club for the conclusion of the move.
However, there’s no fixed buy-out included in the 33-year-old player’s contract with ASVEL, which is valid for the next two seasons as well.
All sides involved are willing to complete the transfer and the teams are currently negotiating the terms.
Lighty averaged 11.3 points while shooting 35% in threes, along with 2.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists across 33 EuroLeague games this season and if the move is completed, he will be reunited with former ASVEL teammate Livio Jean-Charles and Moustapha Fall, who has a 1+1 deal with the Piraeus side.
