Alec Peters has been sidelined with a knee injury since early September, missing the start of the Spanish Liga Endesa and he will also miss the start of EuroLeague.

Baskonia went 2-1 in the Spanish league while their first clash in EuroLeague will be against Olympiacos on the road on Friday, October 1st.

His minutes were mostly taken over by Matt Costello who joined the team this summer and Rokas Giedraitis, the squad’s leading scorer. However, Giedraitis has also been having trouble with an injury and his status will be decided just before the game.

Giedraitis played two games in the Spanish league this season, scoring 23 and 12 points respectively against Valencia and Fuenlabrada. Both of those games were wins for Baskonia while they lost to Joventut, playing without the Lithuanian guard.
