By Eurohoops team/ info@eurohoops.net

Panathinaikos OPAP announced that another member of the team’s staff has tested positive for the coronavirus.

The total number of cases in the team reached seven, four among players and three among the staff. Coach Dimitri Priftis wasn’t present for PAO’s clash against Lavrio megabolt in the Greek Cup quarterfinals.

As Zalgiris Kaunas coach Jure Zdovc revealed in the pre-game press conference, PAO players who are expected to miss the game are Nemanja Nedovic, Leonidas Kaselakis, Jeremy Evans, and Howard Sant-Roos.

It should also be noted that, due to a record number of COVID cases in Greece, only 1,000 fans will be allowed to attend the game, as was announced today.
