FC Bayern Munich is going through another COVID-19 outbreak after more tests turned in positive Friday, per the team’s announcement.

The German club has paused all team activities and their upcoming game against Ulm for the German BBL has been suspended since the team doesn’t have the required minimum of eight players to compete.

The number of active cases in the squad and coaching staff has not been specified, though Bayern had already ruled out several members since last Sunday.

Per Bayern’s announcement:

“The personnel situation at Bayern Basketball has once again changed drastically: In addition to the recent quarantine cases, more have been added to the team as well as the coaching and support staff in recent days, so that the BBL game in Ulm scheduled for Sunday has to be postponed. A corresponding request was granted by the easyCredit BBL on Friday. After the recent positive tests for the Coronavirus, the Munich team currently does not have the necessary eight regular players available. Team training is put on pause”.
