After completing his move from Panathinaikos OPAP to Crvena Zvezda mts, Nemanja Nedovic sent a warm message to the fans of the Greens desiring to rule out any ill feelings.
“Dear Panathinaikos fans,
I took some time for everything to settle down and just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support that me and my family felt during my two years with the team.
I cannot express how grateful I am.
I am a little bit surprised and disappointed by the reaction that I’ve had ta great relationship with during the whole process and this whole situation. I think there was enough time for everybody to find a better solution.
Hearing words like ‘blackmail’ and the name of the team that I fell in love with in the same sentence makes me sick to my stomach. But anyway, I will not try to spin this my way because that would only throw dirt on the beautiful two years and all the friendships I have made during my time in Athens.
One more time, thank you from the bottom of my heart, you will always be part of my family and I will see you soon!

Nedovic, 31, returned to Crvena Zvezda after playing ten years abroad, including a brief stint in the NBA as a member of the Golden State Warriors. Yet again evolving into a fan favorite was the case in the last two years at Panathinaikos.
