DeShaun Thomas is heading to EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, according to Eurohoops sources.

Thomas, 30, was linked to Panathinaikos OPAP but opted to join the Italian team before actually considering an offer from the Greens. Olimpia Milano is set to become his seventh team in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

The Greek side will be looking elsewhere to reinforce the squad heading to the 2022-23 season. Thomas was offered to Panathinaikos but real talks were not launched between the involved parties. The same applies to Virtus Segafredo Bologna.

From his EuroLeague debut back in 2013 as a member of French team JSF Nanterre, now called Nanterre 92, he went on to log 197 games played and counting in the premier club continental competition of Europe. He switched to FC Barcelona in 2014-15, Anadolu Efes in 2016-17, Maccabi Fox Tel Aviv in 2017-18, Panathinaikos in 2018-19 and 2019-20, and FC Bayern Munich in 2021-22.

Back in Europe after displaying his talents in Tokyo through the 2020-21 season, he put up 9.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.3 steals, and 0.2 blocks per EuroLeague contest helping Bayern reach the Playoffs and reasserting himself as a valuable asset with multiple teams showing interest in securing his services.

Joining forces with experienced tactician Ettore Messina, he is slated to become the next summer addition to the squad following Brandon Davies, Stefano Tonut, Billy Baron, and Naz Mitrou-Long. Also during the ongoing offseason, Kyle Hines, Luigi Datome, Paul Biligha, and Devon Hall all inked contract extensions.
