Plenty of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague experience for DeShaun Thomas. Plenty of teams as well. EA7 Emporio Armani Milan will be his seventh in Europe’s premier club continental competition.

“It is very interesting,” he talked to Eurohoops about the 2022-23 EuroLeague season after the Semifinal of the 4th Pavlos Giannakopoulos tournament pitting Olimpia Milano against Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, “A lot of teams loaded up. A lot of good teams and good players on each team. It’s going to be something special.”

Carrying the experience of 197 EuroLeague games over seven years, the next stop is in Italy. Previous stints at FC Bayern Munich, Panathinaikos, Maccabi Fox Tel Aviv, Anadolu Efes, FC Barcelona, and Nanterre 92m cover most of his career.

“In EuroLeague, it’s going to be a long season and every game is going to matter. So, it’s going to be very competitive,” he added, “This is what EuroLeague is going to be all about and what people want to see.”

The team coached by Ettore Messina will visit LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne opening the 2022-23 EuroLeague schedule on 6 October.
