After the biggest brawl ever in the history of the EuroLeague, many of the players are issuing statements. After Sergio Llull, Guershon Yabusele issued an apology directed to Dante Exum.
Madrid’s Guerschon Yabusele and Partizan’s Dante Exum — were at the center of the action. Yabusele slammed Exum to the ground in the Spanish capital. Exum was later seen leaving the court with a heavy limp and with the assistance of team personnel.
“I deeply regret my behavior at last night’s game. Basketball is about sportsmanship and friendship. My sincere apologies to Partizan, a club with which we have always had a great relationship, to Dante Exum and his family, to my teammates, my club, and all the fans“, Yabusele stated on his Instagram account.
The verdict of the disciplinary judge after yesterday’s brawl will be announced today.
