Just minutes after Fenerbahce‘s win over Tofas Bursa and the qualification to the BSL semifinals, Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu tweeted that Fenerbahce reached a two-year agreement with Berk Ugurlu, who played against them with Tofas’ jersey.
However, according to Eurohoops sources that’s not the case and there’s no deal or talks between the two sides.
Berk Uğurlu started his professional career wearing a Fenerbahce jersey in the 2012-13 season. He moved to Karsiyaka in the summer of 2017, stayed there for five years and he spend the last four seasons with Tofas.
In 27 BSL games this season the 27-years old guard averaged 8.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 4.9 assists. His numbers were better in eight Basketball Champions League contests with an average of 10.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 6.1 assists.
