As officially announced, John Brown is staying with Monaco for the coming season.
The 31-year-old joined La Roca Team last summer on a two-year deal, and both sides had the option to terminate the contract but decided not to, and the experienced US forward is staying put.

The elite-level defender was an important piece in Sasa Obradovic‘s team last season, a regular in starting five, and averaged 5.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in 22 minutes per game in the EuroLeague.
“I chose to stay in Monaco to find players that I consider to be brothers, who have decided to continue the adventure too. We have formed a united group, even in difficulty. The year that ended was exceptional, and we achieved something great for the club. But I know that we can improve and do even better. The ambition that should guide us next season is always to want to progress after each match,” Brown said.
After four years of college basketball at High Point, Brown started his professional career with Virtus Roma in 2016. Before joining Monaco, he later played for Treviso, Brindisi, UNICS Kazan, and Brescia.
