Virtus Segafredo Bologna adds plenty of experience in the form of Bryant Dunston.

Dunston, 37, inked a contract for the next season with an option for an additional season, the team announced Friday.

Completing the long stint with Anadolu Efes earlier in the offseason, the experienced center bounced back in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. The two-time champion is set for an 11th campaign in the premier club continental competition of Europe.

In 2022-23, he averaged 4.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 0.8 steals, 0.6 assists, and 0.4 blocks per contest over 29 appearances in the EuroLeague, including two starts under the guidance of Ergin Ataman. Making his way to 13 games of the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi, he tallied 9.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.0 blocks, 0.7 assists, and 0.7 steals per contest.

Focusing his career in Europe since landing in Greece and playing for Aris in 2010-11, the former Fordham standout made it to the EuroLeague in 2013 via Olympiacos. In 2015, he moved his talents to Efes launching the eight-year run with the Turkiye powerhouse. The next stop is joining the team coached by Sergio Scariolo.

Dunston followed Devontae Cook, Ognjen Dobric, Bruno Mascolo, Achille Polonara, and Jaleen Smith on the list of summer signings for the Bologna outfit. Returning players Awudu Abass, Marco Belinelli, Isaia Cordinier, Daniel Hackett, Gabriel Iffe Lundberg, Leo Menalo, Alessandro Pajola, and Tornike Shengelia add to the roster heading to the 2023-24 editions of EuroLeague and domestic competitions in Italy.
