After beating Tofas Bursa 94-87 two days ago, Anadolu Efes had another good showing in their preseason path, winning 68-59 against Besiktas.
Ercan Osmani went close to a double-double with 11 points and 8 rebounds, followed by Rodrigue Beaubois with 10 points and 5 boards; the newcomer Derek Willis added 9 points and 4 rebounds in his team’s victory. The former Efes player Egehan Arna had 21 points in Besiktas’ losing effort.
After winning the first game of the 16th Mehmet Baturalp Tournament, Anadolu Efes will now face Anadolu Efes on September 15 and Pinar Karsiyaka on September 17. Erdem Can’s newest team is 4-1 in the preseason, losing only to Zenit Saint Petersburg while also beating Lokomotiv Kuban and KK Cedevita Olimpija.
