BERLIN — Real Madrid forward Guerschon Yabusele looks forward to facing his buddy and French national team teammate Mathias Lessort in the EuroLeague Final vs. Panathinaikos Athens.
“I’m going to see him in the hotel for sure,” Yabusele told Eurohoops. “Mathias is my guy so I’ happy to play this game against him. Amazing season for sure. I was calling him and telling him while he was running for MVP. Other than my guy Facu [Campazzo] of course, I was telling him maybe he would have it. I’m just happy for him. That’s my friend but Sunday is going to be war time and at the end of the day we’re going to try to get the win.”
