After Zalgiris and Olympiacos, ALBA Berlin also made a move just before the EuroLeague registration deadline.
The American power forward joins the German team as a replacement for Travion Williams, who previously moved to Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Baker already has European experience, having played for Iskra Svit in Slovakia in 2021, but he will make his EuroLeague debut. The 26-year-old center arrives from the NBA G League, where he averaged 8.9 points and five rebounds while representing Osceola Magic.
He also recently played for Team USA in the AmeriCup qualifiers, recording a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds in a win over the Bahamas, while also blocking seven shots.
He has also played for several G League teams, including the Stockton Kings, Lakeland Magic, and College Park Skyhawks, while also gaining experience overseas in Japan and Puerto Rico.
