Olympiacos didn’t face any problems against Partizan to take another EuroLeague victory

Partizan Belgrade coach Zeljko Obradovic commended a particular aspect of the Olympiacos Piraeus offense after the EuroLeague win of the Reds over the Serbian side.

“In some moments we tried to do a better job. Unfortunately, every time, we got close, we took bad decisions offensively. And they punish us because Olympiacos is for sure the best team in the EuroLeague moving without the ball,” Obradovic said. “It’s something that they are really doing very – very good.”

Olympiacos had a powerful start to take a 27 – 18 advantage in the first period and then closed halftime up 46 – 32. Partizan made several attempts to come back but never tried to reduce the margin to single digits.

“They deserved to win. They played on the level they play the whole season,” Obradovic commented. “And we played the opposite way in everything. First of all, we weren’t on the defensive levels we were in other games. And the result was, let’s say a normal result.”

Olympiacos celebrated the 100-anniversary of the foundation of the club on March 10, 2025. Obradovic congratulated the organization for reaching that historic milestone.

“I want to congratulate all the people from Olympiacos for this great anniversary,” Obradovic said. “100 years for the club is something very special. A special club.”
